@uj: Sure buddy, on my way. Though I think you might need to use a keyboard or a piano for it, as guitar can never be in perfect tune. I think u meant perfect pitch, right? I'll post up something soon.

    Bravo! dude.
    hehe, whatever that meant.

Nice collection of lessosn you have here. You should also post something on arpeggios. (Nope not the regular chord position arpeggios, but the ones that involve string skipping and slides - i am in no mood to format and post here).

btw, I always thought what you called as economy picking as the way to play alternate picking across various strings.
I never knew there exist people who keep picking alternately even while transitioning strings.

Anyway, to me its more of what tone I want from the string. Usually, since my plectrum is poised slightly inclined and little downwards, the downstrokes produce a more softer however more voluminous tone.
The upstrokes produce more sharp but slightly less voluminous notes.

Thats what I use in addition to decide how to transition from one string to another.

@uj_6strings: Sorry dude. I have looked but cant find that specific article. Im still digging though. Still have like 70-80 CDs to look through. I'll post it up here as soon as I find it n let u know when it is here via PM. But beware, its a 1 year long course, which claims to give u perfect pitch, so only ask for it if u are dedicated enough to use it. I havent tried it myself, cudnt find enough time, but have heard enough testimonials to believe tht it works.

@alpha1: Dude im working on ur request now. Will post up something pretty soon now.

@alpha1: Whew dawg! That took a while. Finally I found something worth sharing here. Its a PDF about 3.5MB so cant attach. Herez the link for it:

    https://rapidshare.de/files/25748543/Arpeggios___Arpeggios.pdf.html

It has a whole lotta arps for sweep picking, string skipping, 7 string guitar, and other not-so-common arpeggio forms. Have fun and keep the reps & requests coming.

You do not need a video to learn sweep picking if you know triads, scales and modes properly.
So please learn them before you try to sweep pick.
