Interactive Workshop on Electronic Music

Dear All,
The Mumbai Max Mueller Bhavan has the privilege this time of hosting an interactive session with "Ralph Christoph" on the subject of "Electronic Music in India and in Germany" on the 30th of April 2008, 6:30 PM in the Goethe Hall, Max Mueller Bhavan, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai. Ralph will be visiting India and South Asia during his trip and will be meeting many local musicians here in Mumbai. This above mentioned session with Ralph is free of cost and all the interested musicians, Dj's, Students and electronic music enthusiasts are invited.
The session includes:

a lecture by Ralph Christoph,

DVD screenings,
*
audio-visual presentations and
*
an exchange of information about the history and claims of Electronic Music and Pop culture.

This would serve as a platform for artists, bands and people from the music industry to come together and exchange their ideas. It is an initiative to build networks between the Indian and German Music scene.

Ralph Christoph is an expert in electronic media and music and heads the festival c/o pop (cologne on pop) as the programme-director, talent-buyer and head of strategy.( https://c-o-pop.de/home.4.en.html )
The c/o pop is an annual festival for urban pop culture which has been held in Cologne since 2004. It focuses on electronic club music and the diverse culture that goes with it. However, it also reflects the contemporary trends in the indie pop and rock scene.
