Why don't you try Jugalbandi by Junoon.. that is very good.. or even in Heer.. don't play the original one.. try to improvise on the same scale..

    *********PART ONE************

    RIFF 1.1:
    repeat as necessary
    e--------------------------|
    B-2-----3-----5-----3------|
    G---2-----2-----2-----2----|
    D-----2-----2-----2-----2--|
    A-0-----0-----0-----0------|
    E--------------------------|

    RIFF 1.2:
    play once
    e--------------|--------------|----------------------|
    B-7-----8------|--5-----7-----|-3-----5-----2-----3--|
    G---7-----7----|----7-----7---|---2-----2-----2------|
    D-----7-----7--|------0-----0-|-----2-----2-----2----|
    A-0------------|--0-----0-----|-0-----0-----0-----0--|
    E--------------|--------------|----------------------|

Repeat RIFF above a few times if you like.
When bored, switch to RIFF 1.3

    RIFF 1.3:
    e-----------------------------2-----3-----0-----2-----|
    B----2-----3-----5-----3------------------------------|
    G------2-----2-----2-----2------2-----2-----0----0----|
    D--------4-----4-----4-----4------2-----2-----2----2--|
    A-4--2-----2-----2-----2------0-----0-----2-----------|
    E-----------------------------------------------------|

    e----------------------|
    B-3-----5-----3-----2--|
    G---2-----2-----2------|
    D-----4-----4-----4----|
    A-2-----2-----2-----2--|
    E----------------------|

    INTERLUDE:
    played once
    e------5-----5-----5-----5---|
    B----5-----5-----5-----5---5-|
    G--7-----7-----7-----7-------|
    D----------------------------|
    A----------------------------|
    E----------------------------|

    e------5-----5-----5-----5---|
    B----5-----5-----5-----5---5-|
    G--6-----6-----6-----6-------|
    D----------------------------|
    A----------------------------|
    E----------------------------|

    e------5-----5-----5-----5---|
    B----5-----5-----5-----5---5-|
    G--5-----5-----5-----5-------|
    D----------------------------|
    A----------------------------|
    E----------------------------|

    e------3-----3-----3-----3---|
    B----5-----5-----5-----5---5-|
    G--5-----5-----5-----5-------|
    D----------------------------|
    A----------------------------|
    E----------------------------|

    e------0-1p0-----|
    B----3-------3---|
    G--3-----------3-|
    D----------------|
    A----------------|
    E----------------|

    *****PART TWO***************

    RIFF 2.1
    play a couple of times
    e---------------------------|
    B---------------------------|
    G---------------------------|
    D----------4---5-4----7-----|
    A--5-7-4-5---7----------7-5-|
    E---------------------------|

    then go into this!
    RIFF 2.2
    e---------------------------|
    B---------------------------|
    G------4-6-----4------------|
    D--6-7-----6-7---7--6-7-4-5-|
    A---------------------------|
    E---------------------------|

    RIFF 2.3
    repeat this twice!
    e---------------------------|
    B---------------------------|
    G---------------------------|
    D----5-4-----5-4------------|
    A--7-------7----------------|
    E---------------------------|

    Now repeat RIFFs 2.1, 2.2, 2.3
as many times as you like ;-)

Then do this a few times
    RIFF 2.4
    e---------------------------|
    B---------------------------|
    G---------------------------|
    D---------------------------|
    A--5---4-5---5---4-5--------|
    E----5---------5------------|

    then do this
    RIFF 2.5
    e---------------------------|
    B---------------------------|
    G---------------------------|
    D--------------4------------|
    A--5---4-5-5-----7-5--------|
    E----5-------5--------------|

Repeat RIFF 2.4 a couple times

    then do this

    then do this
    RIFF 2.6
    e---------------------------|
    B---------------------------|
    G---------------------------|
    D---------------------------|
    A-5---4-5-5-----------------|
    E---5-------5-0-2-4-5-3-1---|

then this part, which was very
    diffcult to figure out, and
this might not be exact, if you
do this and listen to the recording
carefully you will get a better idea

    RIFF 2.7
    e------------------------------------------|
    B------------------------------------------|
    G---------4-----6-4---4--------------------|
    D---4-5-6---6-4-----6---6-4-4h6p4----------|
    A-5-------------------------------5--------|
    E------------------------------------------|

    RIFF 2.8
This is same as RIFF 2.7 above except there's
no hammer-on pull off twiddly bits and salman
does as staccato-type thingie with the last few notes.
I am too lazy to tab it again. Just listen to the
recording and see how the notes are picked differently.

Then he goes back to RIFF 2.4 or something. Part 2
ends with a major D chord.
    e--x-------------------|
    B-----7----------------|
    G-----7----------------|
    D-----7----------------|
    A--5-------------------|
    E--x-------------------|
