behind the tinted walls of sanity
resides a girl who's insane
underneath the opaque covers of lying happiness
she hides all her pain...

she longs to get rid of the covers
she longs to escape
to a land far away
where no one knows her name..

in the mirror she sees
an epitome of a Utopian lady
but those eyes in the mirror know
that this is not what she wants to be..

to others, she has all one can have
all that one can dream of
but she is not content
no one would ever understand, she laments..

she wants to claim the sky
she wants to fly with the birds
she wants to touch the stars
she wants to run on the waters
she wants to dream big
she wants to seduce the hills
she wants to unleash the beast..

for behind the tinted walls of sanity
resides a girl who's insane..

i wounder what is insanity ... is being content called sanity; when the history tells that all who mattered, all who we look upon as great men, were never satisfied with what they had !!
