Okay, just for aesthetics, I'd edited it long back, but dint post it,,,,,here it goes again


Trodding aimlessly on paved footpath,
mind not on the job at hand.
I see a maiden coming along the road,
and I forget all my errands.

The fairest dame on earth,
crosses right in front of me.
And my mind wanders into the future,
Falling into a deep reverie.

My body stays frozen on the street,
Oh, how beautiful you are!
How well we fit each other,
Like a flower and the bee.
We'd roam free together,
in our blissful company.
Warm sunshine on our backs,
and wind blows, ever so slightly.

Yes, I've begun to love you,
and I shall care for you.
My life is all yours,
and my heart belongs to you.

As my thoughts turn towards matrimony,
you turn around and walk away.
Unaware of a shattering sound,
my heart breaking...
Rejected and dejected,
I move forward too,
to look at the serenest view,
A maiden fairer than you.
