Indian Scaling Patterns

    can u tell me scaling patterns or saregama ???

    like

    c minor scaling is :-
    (root A string )

    1......2......3......4.....5
    ----|-----|---|----|-----|---------------------E
    ----|--c--|---|-*--|-*--|---------------------A
    ----|--*--|---|-*--|-*--|---------------------D
    ----|--*--|---|--c-|----|---------------------G


    * = other notes

    it has 8 notes which are
    sa c
    re *
    ga *
    ma *
    pa *
    da *
    ne *
    sa2 c

    liek it became 1 pattern of saregama
    can u tell me all the patterns of c on the whole fretboard

    jus like that C major scaling is
    ( root A string )

    same goes here
    c major scaling 8 notes and saregama
    can u plz submite all the scaling patternsont he fret board>???

    @zohaib, Jayant has put excellent tutorial on "scaling and Solo".... refer to that. he has given all pattern for G major scale.. u can derive all other based on that..

    what do u mean when u say indian scaling patterns? are u referring to raagas?

    are you asking for saregama to be mapped out on the guitar? if thats the case fine, but saregama is only a reference given to the notes it doesn't say what the interval gap is between the notes which is based more on the scale/raag.

    So are you asking for saregama to be mapped out on the fretboard ? if so then state which raag you want it done for as the intervals, ascents and descents are all different.
