    Hi, peeps !

I am new here.... so hopefully I post it in the right section now. (I appologize if I should do wrong.)

Lets face what I am interested a lot. As you can read in my self introduction, I like heavily the sound and play of 'Indian Slide guitars', being used for Raga performances.

As we all know, there is no real notation for Ragas (if I should be wrong with this pls give critics or overhand some links about getting Raga notations). Most important thing for learning Indian Classics is to have a good teacher (guru) within a harmonical guru-shishya-parampara relationship. 2nd important (or even maybe 1st important) is to listen, listen, listen, listen...

So I ask: Does anybody know good sources for getting listening examples of Raga interpreations (Hindustani same as Carnatic) being recorded by the great maestros on Indian slide guitars, e.g. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Debashish Bhattacharya, Dr. Kamala Shankar... ???

Same I am interested in elder recordings, e.g. of maestro Brij Bhushan Kabra or younger up-coming artists, e.g. Somranjan Chakraborty. etc. etc. etc. .... feel free to inspire me with something new ;-)

The sources for downloads availabale should be of good audio quality. - Pls let me know about, I would be thankfully for rare sources... (I think I know most of the regular sources like last.fm, simfy, soundcloud, iTunes, Napster, CDBaby, esnips etc. ...).

Tks in advance. Hearing from you.... TC/SM.
