IGT Birthday Is Almost Here.. Contests Underway..

Hey Guys..
Its almost one year since our venture to help guitarists of Our Sub-Continent had begun. It was on August 15th 2003 that this site was born. The dream as we may call it has become Reality with The Site reaching a lot of heights. With a Member base of 2000+ and Innumerable tabs, IGT is by far the exclusive and the biggest Indian Guitar Portal. The Family that has developed and given us support has made this Once project a big Success. With our panel of experts, we are able to provide you with any sort of Information you want. This little Unit has the fame it deserves and has been Mentioned in "Sahara Times"

To celebrate One Full Year Of Joy And Happiness , IGT is holding contests with Prizes.. These contests are an attempt to bring out the talent inside you. The event is being judged by four of us Admins and Moderators.

General Rules :-
> Desicion Of Panel Of Judges is Final.
> All members are eligible to participate.
> Only one entry per person.
> No entries will be taken after the Last date mentioned.
> Every member is allowed to see the exhibits. But Should not comment or review the entries. Or reply in that Forum..

The Details Of The Contests Are As follows :-

1. The Artwork Contest ...
All participants of this contest are supposed to create an artwork for Indian Guitar Tabs..

Rules And Regulations : -
> Suitable for Logo, T-Shirts , Posters etc..
> Usage of Images Allowed..
> Should Be in JPEG format.
> Should have an Explaination or description of the artwork.
> Should Be Submitted In The Artwork Contest Forum

2. The Midi Contest ...
Here all participants are going to create a song In any Midi software.
For example Guitar Pro, Tabit, Tabedit, etc

Rules And Regulation : -
> Should be atleast of 24 bars.
> Any number of Instruments allowed.
> Should not have any part of song copied from another.
> Should be submitted in The MIDI Contest Forum

well i have a suggestion too jay , a private chat room can be made on yahoo chat & you can juss tell everyone the name of the chat room , the day & the time , so prob anybody interested can juss come in that particular room as well as can stay online on igt , what do u say....

 

I could easily co-ordinate that...

 

We linux users dont have the luxury of chat room...

 

yeah. .. very unfortunate. .. those sucking java applets. . .anyways we could come down to windoze. .. ??
