by the way....its just been 5 months since i have started playing....

so most of songs i learned and enjoy playing since of my little knowlegde are.....mostly nirvana...

Well, what songs I play? Very few. You all play so many songs, I feel so inferior. I think the problem with me is that when I start a song, I stick until I can play it completely. Hence, I don't even start songs with impossible solos because I know I wont be able to play it.

 

I can play any song.. cause i play them my way (cut that shitty solo and add my arps and rhythms to compensate)

but then i can hardly play even one song if u want em like the original..

I dont like soloing on the guitar.. cause i cant even play basic scales properly. the blues tuning confuses the heck out of me when playing solos..
i would fare well on a DADADA tuning or something :

 

I can play quite a few.. I generally play originals..

 

Some nirvana songs, a few metallica songs, a few nu-metal songs, a few hindi songs. That's all. Nothing much.
And Mamasteen, "WOWW"?????? Dude, you surpass everyone here according to me. At the next meeting you'll have to play at the last, cause if you play at the beginning i doubt if anyone will even consider playing the guitar.

during those days the only reason i was not given (or rather i did not take) the chance of playing leads was because of that ...
once i did ... and u wont believe ... i cupped Californication ...

n that happens coz u try to remember after short practice ... for playing with command and confidence u should be playing that stuff for months if not years ...

 

Yup..I bought my acoustic two years ago but spent too much time gaming and watching Friends,Wonder Years,SP and movies:....didnt practise at all(..another guy started at the same time,bought an elec..practised day and night..and made it to the hostel band..what I regret most is that there were 2-3 guitar gods in my hostel..I should have taken fundaes from them...but I din have an elec then and didnt put too much fight...:
