can neone tell me wht i do... my IE is openein very slowly and i cannot open more thn 3 internet explorer..else system hangs...no virus on pc... :

^^thats simple partition ur disk one for windoz files the other for music and another for other softwares and one for games
Which IE do you use?? If you are on IE 6, then do update it to Beta 7.. It's awesome and it's virus-proof.. Better than anything.. nIK!!:nw:
probably less RAM...cause IE eats up too much of RAM...secondly...too much of spyware or untracked processes running which might be consuming CPU time...run some antispyware...third...some bullsjit windows scheduled processes....cut those out...
ye firefox is much better...... and i have always wondered how to partition my drives.... but id still loose my data wouldnt i?
u will need to format it during partitioning so yes u will lose ur data but as i told u if u get a virus or prob in drive c u can format only c n the other drives will not b formatted abt partitioning u need to know well how to do it or ur hard disk may crash......
to cut out bullshit processes...press ctrl alt del to list processes....there shud be 7 to 8 listed if ur runniong a sane comp.....spot the suspicious ones and kill'em...they're named something like...xsvc.exe, helpservice.exe, winsvc.exe...u get the drift...
hey abhi i hope you have already deleted all the cookies, temp files and history. try doing this to reset the ie. to default settings.. Click the 'Start' button in Windows. Select 'Run.' Enter 'regsvr32 msxml3.dll' in the 'Open:' field, and click 'OK.' check if it works... Dont format i dont think its a virus... if you are considering another browser.. i wud say go for opera 8.5 good luck
Dude .. like some suggested here you can get a different anitvirus, get your hardisk partitioned and set up everything afresh, get a newer version of IE, get a better spyware removal tool or whatever ..... but here is the ultimate solution dude , like some other guyz have already suggested ........ GET FIREFOX ...................................
