But esp f50 got a agathis body, tune o matic bridge, 24 xj frets,
i have read abt ibanez grg 170dx reviews r telling that esp f50 better than ibanez .
There is a fret buzzing at 12th fret also it goes out of tune due to hanging tremolo also i dont kno wat tremolo is used for.
As for esp f50 cons they say only stock pickups are not upto the mark! Else its one of the nice ax around.
I thought of esp ax50 coz it has killer looks i have seen it at the sb music store malad.

    That fixed bridge is tempting...

Tremolo's are for dropping the pitch of the note. It's useful, although you may not always use it. It is removable.

Fret buzz doesn't depend on the model of the guitar unless they screwed up t every one of em. (Which i really doubt) Even if there is, fret buzz can be gotten rid of.

I like my GRG(150), but i suggest you try both out before deciding.

well dude da thing is dat all your options are lower end model of huge companies......so u just have to pick up da best option available to you...........GRG170 has da 24 frets too.....its true dat a floating tremolo shouldnt be bought unless u have some experience wid dem.......bt den how else would experience come unless u own it?????

and also da lower end ESP's havnt got such a good tone.......

u should just go wid wat u want.......
