    Try learning "Hero" from Enrique - its a very easy song to play...all you need to know is G, C, D (and maybe Em)
    just google it...there's lots of sites with chords with this song.

    try some nickelback stuff or wonderwall from oasis.

    Strat Floydian

    Wonderwall certainly isn't beginner stuff. Quite difficult strumming if you want it perfect.

    easier Oasis numbers would be: Let there be love, Little by little, Don't go away, Sunday morning call...

    Easy Open E minor tuning method

    The standard tuning is 6E 5A 4D 3G 2B 1E, but change just the 5th and 4th strings respectively higher to 5B and 4E. Now when you strum the strings in open position you have an E minor chord: E6 B5 E4 G3 B2 E1. All your minor chords can be played by barring across the six strings. Fminor would be all first frets.

    F Minor chord pattern

    F MAJOR chord pattern

    There you go! You can just slide the two chord patterns up an down the neck playing almost any song with just two patterns!!!

    Easy strumming lesson

    Remember these SIX words:

    PIE=Downstroke on one beat

    APPLE=Downstroke upstroke on one beat.

    Apricot=(short short long) stroked down up down. Think apricot apricot, etc.

    Blackberry is the reverse of apricot. So it's long short short on one beat, with down down up stroking pattern. Think Blackberry blackberry, etc.

    HUCKLEBERRY=down up down up, all on one beat.

    Now practice strumming phrases:

    Get the idea? Rhythm strumming is a piece of cake!

    There are thousands of rhythms you can do with those six words.

    Peace to all,
