At the Shakti gig, backstage for around 15 min. He gave lots of gyan on what is important for a musician, told me to buy his DVD(;-)), and also talked about loads of other stuff. Fantastic meeting one of my idols. He also signed my Variax
Yup, it was really a dream come true to meet the Mahavishnu himself even though he told us to become accountants...lol.
God! I cant believe this....he and Strunz are my idols since all these yrs of acoustic guitaring..... u`re damn lucky! I`d kill to meet him and get him to sign my guitar...
He levitates More seriously, he's quite approachable and willing to sit and chat etc. Quite spiritual etc., although I don't know if that's the LSD in the 70s or real. Also he was most intrigued by my Variax-"Where are the pickups?"
According to Ronnie, it was very very good. I don't like Frank Gambale at all, but apparently he was very good that night.
