Dont worry now u r under my vision.
Just ask me what kind of help is required. :
hey juz kiddin...
To learn strumming juz pick up ur guitar and just play some up strokes..followed by some downstrokes.Yeah it may sound stupid. But carry on.
Now play up-down alternatively.Change the pattern like down-up-up-down and experiment with different chords.
U will slowly get the hang of it.
Dont worry u cannot become slash within a day...But trust me u can definitle become a good rhythm guitarist within a week.
The catch word is practice. :aggre:
Dont give up..even if ur guitar croaks...just carry on..
take ma word dude
u will never realize when u make the transition from urself to a good strummer.

no substitute for a teecher ... second best is internet ... google.com ... ok IGT is also second best
but u should be knowing what u wanna learn ... something concrete ... like a problem definition ... eg i wanna learn how to play guitar like Joe Satriani ... and be able to improvise over nay chord sequence given to me ...
