hello my frnds i hav guitar for past 6 months but dont know what exactly to do with it bcoz i know the basic chords and my strummings r totally bad worse,i know E,G,A,D,C,G7 and few more which r basic, any one can help me they can chat to me in my yahoo [SNIP] i will be really appreciate it and lookin forward to be a good guitarist by u all THX Cya peace
if u can go by my advice:- firstly learn to play all basic chords..iL mention all> major: A B C D E F G minor Am Bm Cm Dm Em Fm Gm all sharps: A# B C# D# E F# G# sharp minors: A#m Bm C#m D#m Em F#m G#m E and B dont have sharps learn how to play these, i.e, their chord position...now when u know majority of these...pick any of ur favourite song..search for its chords and play..there would surely be many songs which u'd be able to play..or simply go to igt archive and start playing the songs which u like out of list to lean chord position:- https://www.8notes.com/guitar_chord_chart/A.asp side by side...clear ur basic guitar chord theory....just google, its got everything u need to know when ur done wid it..make another thread asking what next or pm me, i'll tell u what next to learn(or maybe by that time, you'd be knowing quite a bit abt guitaring)...it will take some time depending on how much u can dedicate!
if u find difficulty with strumming then it would be better if u could find a teacher cuz its easier to strumm once u have observed some one doing it practically...

hey m8 nice first post HELP YOURSELF he's right man if you don't practice your not gonna progress and i dunno bout teachers man never had one, just practice everyday for a good hour or hour n' half. it gets frustrating but you do need patience to learn guitar don't give up on it
