i got a set of 6 whistles one for each string....just blow it and try to match da sound wid the sound of the corresponding open string....got the whistle for 150 buks....
download software digital tuner(mini tuner)... there are fixed frequencies for each string... you will give input through mic... its best software... or eles.. you can tune it manually... E(thin) string is tuned thru E4 ( 4th fret) B3 G3 D3 A2 E2(thick) try to tune your guitar by continoun ear practice... by knowing of any tab in which all string could be played... tune guitar by matching sound of strings by actual sound of tabbed song or etc if u want this software... i can send u anyway... have fun... basit
I use my mobile to tune my guitar. (Any mobile with composer feature will do) Enter composer mode, press the relevant button which produces the note E. In my nokia handset the key '3' produces E note, and I tune my 1st string to that pitch. Remaining strings can be tuned using relative tuning method.
nice way arunx....thanx iL try this next tym im trying to get my ear trained..u can try playing do re mi fa..on different strings uL get to know which string is offbeat....then there is 1 resonation method also..like if i press the top E on fifth fret the next string A will vibrate if its tuned......earlier i used to try https://www.8notes.com/guitar_tuner/ for tuning my guitar in accordance with it..u can try..its nice!! u dont need to download anything..its a webpage/online tahda!!

an easy way buy a tuner an Ibanez tuner with a metronome costs Rs 500 and metronome's the best thing 4 gainin SPEED!!!
My mobile was handy and most helpful in tuning my guitar so far, especially when I take my acoustic guitar into the farms, forests etc - where we can't carry a comp or forget a tuner!
