You need a good mic, an interface with a mic preamp and some place, quiet and closed so that you can record without interfrerence.

ok guys....here is the update (sorry for late reply, was busy in work)

after a lot of searching, i decided to buy this one
    https://www.buy.com/prod/sony-ecm-m...-100hz-to-15khz-cable/q/loc/111/90050310.html

pickups didn't work for me.....coz most of the times i have to record voice also with the guitar playin

got audicity and sound forge installed, and they are pretty good in taking care of the recordings, IF they are from a good quality mic!

they didn't do any good to my previous recordings from a Sony CyberShot digital camera ;-)

anyways.....im waiting for the mic to be arrived......let's see how things will come up.

thanks a lot for all the tips and information.....appreciate much! =)

Download audacity. If you want to try multitracking, you might want to install the asio4all driver to reduce latency.
