    And the thing sayz they're all triads or triplets. Like wtf is that supposed to mean?

    Triads are chords like D major or Dmin. Triplets are notes which are played in the time it takes you to play two notes.
    BTW, is that the acoustic part or the lead.

    Triplets

    I haven't heard the actual song but I have the Guitar Pro tab for it. Anyway, triplets are based on the duration of the beat.
    Look at the attachment and d/l the midi file. The first two notes are regular quarter notes while the next three are 3 quarter notes that have been grouped as a triplet. Just listen and you'll hear the difference.

    BTW if you have Guitar Pro, I can send you the tab. If you don't, I can send you the tab by e-mail.

    See if this tab is easier. It's an export from Guitar Pro. It gives the beat duration. It was tabbed by Hunk. If you have any doubts, PM me.
