How to increase action of my Ibanez GRG 170 DX ? Pls Help

    Hi everyone

    I recently bought an Ibanez GRG-170-DX

    and i dunno how to increase the action of my guitar .... a little bit confused....... can anyone pls explain me

    its just the first string and that too one note 17th on 1st string is sounding dead
    im sure it is a lower action problem but I dunno how to increase action.

    so pls can anyone help me?

    There must be a screw of some kind on the bridge saddle to adjust the height of that string. But if its brand new it could be the fret or neck thats at fault.

    yeah it is brand new......

    and the 17th and 18th fret sounds same..... i mean it is a same note.... so maybe i thought it is an action ka problem....

    If the 17th and 18th fret are playing the same pitch its not the string height thats the problem it sounds like the fret. Take it back to the shop and get them to fix it..... don,t try to do it your self.
