    I'm really sorry man, i can't teach you nothing about guitarplaying just because i'm a keyboardplayer and i know very less about guitarplaying, but i'm sure there are alot guys overhere whom can teach you alot about almost anything you want to know about guitarplaying and stuff!
    So good luck man!!!

    Try and remember the chord formulae.
    Major = 1 3 5
    Minor = 1 b3 5
    Diminished = 1 b3 b5
    And so on.
