    WeLL Siddharth...

Its great to hear that people are making best use of the forum..
I am no pro, like the others on the forum...
But i wil try to help you out

    1. First of all you need to learn the basic 24 chords

Get hold of some guitar index chord site or any chords book..
Perfect the first 24 chords consisting of the major and minor chords...

    2. After you have mastered these 24 chords, try to figure out the tune of the song on the guitar...
Try to get the lead of the song in your guitar..

    3. Then depending on the crux note of each tab, relate the chord...
Like if you feel that the song has a crux at F, then try all chords related to F like F, Fm, F#, F#m...Generally the chords will get into the tune of the song...

    4. Finding chords is just one aspect of the entire process..
Then you have to pay attention to the strumming pattern...

    5. Strumming as you might know, is the striking style of the hand on the Guitar....For getting hold of the strumming pattern, you need to listen to the song very carefully...and try it out...

Hope i was of some help
    BYe!!
    have fun ;)

First try to play the bass line of the song....like try to figure out the root note bass line changes....This will tell you the chordal movement of the song...Knowing these, you should be able to make out the Scale and then the Chords....

    Lets say...the bass lines are E G E F# E B

Looking at these notes, you should be able to guess that it's E Minor bcos the E Minor scale goes like E F# G A B C D. Well it could also be E Dorian which is E F# G A B C# D E......But at least you have cornered to 2 possibilities.....

Then you should know the chords over a progression...

    For Eminor the chords are Em, F#Dim, G, Am, Bm, C, D, Em......and for E Dorian it will be Em, F#m, G, A, Bm, C#Dim, D, Em

Now look at the above progression which was like E G E F# E B

E is minor in both cases....G is also Major in both the cases, F# could be Diminished for E Minor and F# is a Minor for E Dorian....Play F#m and F# Dorian too see which fits...You would have already got the answer by now...

Just just strike your Low E string with chord changes...Just one note...You could also follow the bass guitar.
