@Shahrukh, blue butt monkeys???? @tejas, i aint lying dude. @theguitaristof, ditto, i aint lying dude.
I remember u telling me u started about the same time i did. Anyway, if u say so, it has to be right.
Well technically speaking, i bought my guitar round about the same time you started classes, and i went to classes for 15 days, i hated them and i put my guitar away. It's only since 7 months that i've been seriously doing it.
@rockboyteek, funny that you should term a post off-topic when you yourself have lead the discussion off-topic. Back to the topic everyone.
Have been at it for 1 and 1/2 years now...what I regret is that havent practiced much during all this time and consequently NO level yet ( : ..but the fire seems to be coming back...hoping to buy an elec soon and start off practicing with full enthu...have secured a battered elec temporarily(I mean a REALLY f^$%ed up piece of s*^t)..lets see where it goes..
like jayswami says u shud never wait until u become a good player....(by the way, theres nothing like a good player....u r always improving)....just start a band wid guys of ur level and improve together. dat was really well said. @jayswami....i hope wat i recollected was absolutely correct. if not....plz DONT hit my by a train. :
@nebu me planning to buy an electric this yr if results r good if not nxt yr for sure sorry off topic
I've been playing acoustic for nearly 4 years now and electric for just a year. I still think I suck at guitar.
4 years... not in a band yet. Will try to form one after I'm through with my engg entrances. Besides, I'll finally be getting an electical guitar(Yay!!!!) after my boards are over, I finally managed to convince my dad that I play well enough for an electrical :
u mean electric electrical guitar is the one on that movie disco dancer.. the strings glow red.. and when the heros mom touches the strsings.. she gets 440 volt shock and dies :
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA JAY also look properly at his typo - ELECTICAL and by the way, there have been many deaths where guitarists were electrocuted while playing, i wonder if disco dancer was influenced by that. One example is lead singer of yardbirds - Chris Dreja
^^^ dude how?? they musta fiddled with the isnides of a marshal head or something.. and a capacitor discharged or something.. the quarter inch cable carries no electrical current capable of killing anyone... the electric guitar is an electro-magnetic instrument. how can one get electrocuted???
