how do you play these tabs ???

how do you play something that looks like this? are they tabs/chord...confuuuuused! :think:

cheers dharmatma... sorry if this sounds bimbish... but how is it a 'C'? how does the '5 5 3' equal 'C'?! :

 

well, the base note is a C so it is a C chord....u have to know da scales and all dat to know dat....anyways....u can place ur index finger on 3 fret and ur P finger(the one beside the pinky) for da fifth fret and strum...

 

jayna420 u need to read more about guitar tabulatures and how to read them. u will find tutorial threads here on igt, u can google it as well.
