Here's how I play it, it can also be played in the barre form, with a barre on the 4th fret( I think):
    E|---4----|
    B|---5----|
    G|---6----|
    D|---6----|
    A|--------|
    E|--------|

    G-4---6-
    D-4---6-

    Why only C#m???

As this thread was talking C#m, I thought, why let it stop there...lets tell something about all minors....

Hehe, a nice technique is this...for benineers only...

You know the Major chord position as:
    (x)
    (x)
    (x)-(x+1)
    (x)-(x+2)
    (x)-(x+2)
    (x)
You will get a Minor chord of the same scale at this(lifing the x+1 note)
    (x)
    (x)
    (x)
    (x)-(x+2)
    (x)-(x+2)
    (x)

    So if you play F-maj:
    1
    1
    1-2
    1-3
    1-3
    1
    You get F-min at:
    1
    1
    1
    1-3
    1-3
    1

and the other(althought there are several more)

You know the Major chord position as:
    (x)
    (x)-(x+3)
    (x)-(x+3)
    (x)-(x+3)
    (x)
    (x)
You will get a Minor chord of the same scale at this(lifing the x+1 note)
    (x)
    (x)-(x+1)
    (x)-(x+2)
    (x)-(x+2)
    (x)
    (x)

    So if you play D-maj:

    5
    5-7
    5-7
    5-7
    5
    5
    You get D-min at:
    5
    5-6
    5-7
    5-7
    5
    5

    Might help!!!

using barre is always beneficial ... it sounds way better and it actually helps when switching from A-shape to E-shape barres....

    E- x

    E- 0
    B- 2
    G- 1
    D- 2
    A- 4
    E- x

    E- x
    B- x
    G- 13
    D- 12
    A- 11
    E- 9

talking about the barre chords , how do I position ex: a D ?? Do I just barre the 5th fret and use only ring finger to hold the required 3 notes on the 7th fret ?

    OR

Do I just barre the 5th fret and use my middle , ring and pinky fingers to hold the 3 notes on the 7th fret ?

btw Gogol , thanks for that barre info .. Really cleared certain of ma doubts ;)

    Cheerz!

Both ways are fine but the first way is preferrable.

Nice to know that it helped!:p:

About your D query. I guess(because I do that) trying to press the 3 strings with the ring finger is prefferable. But it seems a bit tough at first. However, the 3 finger way has its advantages i.e., you can slide the pinky finger to get added notes in the chord.
