How do i take my guitar playing to the next level????

well.....that my question....now i can play barre chords, most of the basic stuff,,and some solos ( but not fully)....as i get stuck when it comes to playing two notes at the same time....e.g.

and when a thing like this come in a song...i dont fell like playing it



well...so can you guys out there suggest some books or software ...that can help me to take my guitar palying to the next level???.....now am not able to learn from a teacher ...coz the place i live there arnt any good teachers.......
i also dont have any knowledge of music theory....so can someone also suggest from which scale to begin learning????

play the simultaneous notes also...if u lose interest in one thing, u will not play thth at all for ur entire life..so focus on all the aspects....

 

^^YUP...thats the thing...i have been stuck at the same playing level for sometime now...and didnt know what to do.....now this cyberfret.com is cool..speciall teh videos provided....and would recommend to any beginner
