How do i play these patterns?

    i am can u tell me how do i play these patterns or riffs?

    Riff 1

    u understand me now?Are these supposed to be played as barre or with fingers or which way pls...thank u

    these are power chords

    you can play these as barres and mute the strings that are not needed
    or u can use your thumb to mute the lower e string

    u can play them with your fingers - im guessing that ths is a distorted riff on an electric and ur playing on an acousitc. i suggest that you just try to learn how to palm mute and play with a slight palm mute - that involves your right hand - search this forum for a thread teaching you that.

    you have to palm mute it if ya dotn not have to play it. if i was u i would play it as a barre chord as their power chords

    thanx for all the info but wat is PALM MUTING?

    palm muting is a technique tat is used to stop a string from vibrating. using the right hand palm we can achieve this.we have to place the palm on the string which is required to palm mute it so the sound dosent come out or isnt tat noticible. but wen distorted gives kinda groovy feeling using palm muting............................correct me if i am wrong

    But do search the forum for better undestanding as it would be better.
