hi frns...i have a KORG AX 5G processor ...i need Dave Murray's guitar tone......m very new wit it.....its a bit urgent.....ny help wil b apreciatd....
the maiden tone is fairly simple. humbuckers into marshall amp. find a british amp simulator on your processor. tweak the mids so you have a lot of midrange between 800 Hz and 1.5 kHz. try not to get a scratchy tone. not too much distortion either. perhaps you can use the compressor.
guys i'm usin Ibanez GRG 170DX(2 humbucker n 1single coild) with Stranger 20cube........i'm very new wit da KORG piece.....
1. Select the Classic British amp 2. Put the gain setting to around 3quarters 3. Set the bass/low to around half, mids to again 3 quarters and treble/high to less than half. 4. Add a delay (around 300-400ms) for leads. 5. Use the bridge pickup for most parts. 6. For wailing solos, or fast legatos, use the neck pickup. 7. Play the same damn pentatonic licks again and again at faster and faster speed.
. i did it usin UK '80 drive.....wit cabinet UKT75.....its getin close ......but no idea abt delay.....plz help....
but bro m confused between modulation n stereo delay.........dnt kno wat 2 use?......n no idea abt 300-400ms delay.....? how is it measured in da processor?
