    Did you just need the tab? Or can't you reach the notes on an acoustic? And do you just want to play for yourself or on stage?
    The best thing to do is to transpose the song down. Just play it a couple of frets down but with the same pattern. If you need it in the same key, then you have to re-transcibe it.

    If you want to play it acoustic, you'll be better off trying Sheryl Crow's version. Hunt up the tabs and the song.

    But the second part is way off from the original song.
    Check it out once more.

    Actually, it's not my tab. Since jovialarchie asked, I posted it. It was tabbed by flash. But to me, it sounds right. Maybe you're talking about the bass.

    guys i hav a 19 fret guitar n i m finding it difficult to play on 15th n 14 fret !!!! i m jus a learner !!!

    That's what I asked in the beginning!!! Just take the entire song. Subtract the same number from all the frets from the tab. PLAY!!!! That's called transposing (Actually, it's a bit more complex but this'll do!). For example, if you choose to subtract 5, then 12th fret becomes 7th. The 14th fret becomes the 9th. Play them on the same strings.

    ^^^Not the sheryl crow version...

    And if u try any metallic stuff like this one on accoustic it will suck.

    But if u try the soft rocking versions of Gnr like dont cry..u will get the difference:p:

    Maybe because...Uh...You can't play well (Or you can't handle an acoustic guitar)!!!!
    If you're good, then you can play Sweet Child of Mine on the Acoustic and make it sound good.
    Confused? It's played on OD and it's a melody. Unless it's a power chord progression on distortion or high gain OD, then you can play it on an acoustic!

    Some songs do suck on the acoustic but just as many songs suck on the electric (I play both). And without the proper pedal... The electric guitar is very similar to an acoustic except the steel string sounds fuller.
