hey guys what are tabs? ik know nothing bout them.plz help me explain what they are & how to read them......

thx AJ, i put link cos i searched 'tabs' and found 500 entries. thought somebody good at searching would not put a req like this. but all will become better at searching with time as is with anything. AJ any info on chords of 'Hai mera dil' from josh and any chance to get old KARZ music played during Jeep sequence?
