My names Haider, 19 from London, UK. I've only been playing/trying (lol) to play guitar for the past year or so although I bought my first guitar back in 2005 when I attended my brothers wedding in Lahore, Pakistan. I only really gave it some attention back in August last year, I'm self taught, but not very well hehe. My main influences are Jal, Atif Aslam, ALOT of Western bands who I cant be bothered to name but I'll name a few, AC/DC, Metallica, Oasis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Maroon 5 etc But yeah I like all kinds of music, RnB, Hip Hop, LOVE Bollywood music and of course all kinds of rock I'm currently playing the acoustic guitar I purchased back in Lahore. I can only really play rhythm/chords etc as my fingering/hammer ons/pull offs are abit poor to play lead. and, I know EVERYONE and their dhaadi can play it, but I STILL cant play Aadat and it frustrates the hell out of me cos its such an awesome song. No matter how hard I try I cant play barre chords. Anyway I think I've gone on long enough hopefully I can learn alot from the community here. -Haider.
