    can someone explain how to use cakewalk??

    i got the project5 trial edition?/


    i tried all but cant record n my mic is plugged :p: :p:

    I am not sure about Project 5.
    In Cakewalk Sonar I have to 'ARM' the track before I record.
    On every there is a 'R' icon which you can click to enable.

    No sounds? Then check your record input. Go to volume control> options> Properties> recording click ok. A screen will come, make sure Microphone as input is selected and the volume is loud enough, if that does not help, there is som prob. with your mic or input plug.

    from the first image you attached, i can see that there are no available MIDI input or output ports. this means that you cannot use MIDI at all. this may be a problem, and if you want to use MIDI then consider reinstalling your audio drivers.

    for audio recording, make sure that you have "mic" selected in the RECORDING mixer in the windows volume control and the volume turned up, and you have armed the destination track.

    hmmmm prob seem to b sorted well but think i cant save that i dont think thats coz its trial coz the trial had save as option enabled

    duhhhh i am uninstalling that crap n moving to audacity again
