help

    i cant reccord

    my mic is okie it works with other pcs but with my pc even in either of the two mic ports it does not work!!!

    its a headset thing

    n the listening **** works so any advice...........................

    same problem with my PC... it has loads of mic ports and ive tried them all but it never works.....

    IT WORKED A COUPLE of times but not today i wonder why??!!!

    plenty of mic ports? do you have a high-end sound card?
    also, check them for color. the pink coloured port is the right one.
    then, check your RECORDING volume control window, whether mic is selected and the volume is turned on.
    lastly, when all else fails, go to the advanced button of your recording mixer and turn on "alternate device" checkbox.

    okie check this silent dragon


    sound card Realtek AC'97 audio for via (R) controller

    its not prob with the mic its the pc prob i thinkj coz mic owrks well on others pc


    can u suggest sth????
