i bought my greg bennett av3 last weekend n did not buy a processor so i downloaded some (guitar FX BOX 2.7, guitarfx3,revalver mk II,guitar rig) but i get annoying hum no matter what software i use. also the clean sound is so loud that i can barely distinguish between processed and clean sound if i increase the gain then only hum increases n saturates every thing. plz its my first guitar and dont want to ruin the fun help asap.
there can be a prob with your cables. or your comp isnt earthed properly. or you could turn down the boost in the volume control.
Switch off mic boost. Where have you plugged it in? Mike port or line in? Either way, there will be some hum. Single coils are affected by 60 cycle hums that emanate from all electrical equipment.
simply... the software is totally **** (this software sucks)... soo u should but a decent processor...
