Help : Strumming Patterns needed

    Hello Friends
    Can anyone send me different types of strumming patterns ?
    Or can anyone tell me what is the right way of strumming the guitar ?
    Actually , I can play each and every song .but my strumming goes the same for all the songs so its very boaring . I want my songs to get that ***y touch and feeling so that my songs should be distinguished .

    D= stroke down
    U=stroke up

    Example 1:
    Hitting all the counts:

    1--&--2--&--3--&--4--& | 1--&--2--&--3--&--4--& |

    Example 2:
    Hitting on 1-2&3-4&

    1--&--2--&--3--&--4--& | 1--&--2--&--3--&--4--& |
    D--X--D--U--D--X--D--U | D--X--D--U--D--X--D--U |

    Example 3
    Hitting on 1-2&-&4&
    This pattern if played at a moderate speed can be used for Papa Kehte Hain type of songs:

    1--&--2--&--3--&--4--& | 1--&--2--&--3--&--4--& |
    D--X--D--U--X--U--D--U | D--X--D--U--X--U--D--U |

    Example 4
    Hitting on 1&-&-&4&

    da most famous used in most of indian n pakistani songs called BEAT 16, It goes like

    ^ ^ DOWN.up.down.up.....DOWN.up.down.up

    v hit da first down harder den da rest 3 in a normal way.

    You should listen to songs whoh have clear strumming pattern
    like wonderwall by oasis
    and try to strum that without vocals at first

    then try humming the song while strumming
    it helped me at first
