acoustic or clean electric songs: tuesday's gone by lynyrd slynyrd (also covered by Metallica in Garage 1) tequila sunrise by eagles ... '74-'75 by Connells (u wont get it anywhere - u can try altavista media search ... i got one real media file thru that) ... looking back by Mike and the Mechanics ... Amanda by Boston (it has distorted parts ... but can be safely played on acoustix) ... Outside by Staind (killer man ... u can cut the distorted part and the song still ROX) ... Once upon a time in the west by Dire Straits (this is one of their best - personally i feel it better than Sultans of Swing) ... Nothing else Matters (by metallica - u can replace the overdirven leads by acoustic ... it sounds ok) ... Before the Dark by Judas Priest (very nice) ... Planet Caravan by BLack Sabbath (also covered by Pantera - jsut too cool ... esp the leads are in Dorian ... sounds jazzy/funky) ... many more ... if u want ... if are unable to arrange 'em ... pm me ... i will find out the means of sending 'em to u ...
hey i meant that these songs are either clean electric or acoustic (ok some do include dist but chalta hai) ... and all of 'em sound gr8 on acoustic ... i guess i will send you '74-'75 as a trailer ...
74-75 is a way too cool song!! You can also try : 1. The other side of life - Moody Blues 2. Carrie- Europe 3. Empty Rooms - Gary Moore 4. Anything by Al Stewart - e.g. Year of the cat/The Candidate 5. King of Hollywood - Eagles 6. Always somewhere - Scorpions (cool lead, not necessarily clean) 7. (I just) died in your arms - Cuttin' Crew 8. Santana - quite a few - Tales of Kilimanjaro/Moonflower etc. 9. Chris Rea's stuff Good luck! ps: 74-75 by the Connells is a unique song!! It should be available on one of the Now That's What I call music albums (1993-994).
