Hawiian guitar?? don't u need hula girls t play it?!! kiddin ya.. I'hv seen it being played kept in a horizontal position and that too without a pick or something..its like a jockey thing you need to play it with.(as far as i know).

^ the hawaian guitar is the one which is kept on the lap while playing. it's played usually with a slide over the fretboard and 3/4 finger-picks to pluck the strings. and since he has used the word "guru g", i'm sure it is that only. in alpha1's post the guitar in the 1st pic is hawaiian. the 2nd one is of a spanish classical guitar.
