Help regarding cmajor bar chord type position

    Guys while playing c on bar chord which finger to use to bar the 3notes on 5string middle or pinky i have practised with middle then i knew that i can also play sumhow with pinky but nt flawless so which finger i continue

    A C major barre chord with two barres traditionally uses two fingers - the index finger to barre all the strings at the third fret (The low E string is muted or not played), and the ring finger to barre the D G B strings on the fifth fret.

    Basically it is an A major shape shifted three frets up.

    So practice with those fingers... That is the way it is supposed to be done...

    Ahh i was struggling with that low e muting if its realy nt to be played then am done with the chord

    Instead of muting you can also choose not to play it at all... Just strike the higher five strings while strumming (like you do with an A major chord).
