  4. alpha1

    alpha1 I BLUES!

    for 14-16K

U might get low end Ibanez, Samick and Epiphone(? not sure)

The best bet would have been a custom made guitar at taht price, but since you lack experience on electric guitar - it wont be advisable.

or d00d you could go for a little cheaper also like Tansen (they are around 9-12K).

Some Korean guitars are also on the market (I think Samick is also one), but better try out everyone of them b4 actually committing and buying.

if u have a budget of 16k, then strtch it up to 17(might even get it for 16k after sometalks ;-)) and u wud get ibanez gxr 370, gud guitar with floyd rose and evrything, u may be a beginner but will get better only...also its totally diff. 4 any gtr player to play or learn on a gud gtr than on some Kaamchalau thing....try it out but do remember u need to investment more for the amp.....can 4get fxts now, try somehand on clean and improve ur tone and then buy a decent processor later.........

Custom is my suggestion as always...

Since you are a n00b, go for Tansen or Hamer.. Both are good..

^^^ Thats because of the wood used, The pickups etc etc.. For Metal , Jackson and ESP are good.. Ibanez is like All ROund(meaning Different models have different purpose) Fender is good for Classic kind of Sound..

hey u could also try the yamaha pacafica series they are good guitars but be shure to try them out before buying u could get them for 10K-11K.and can also go in for a decent processor or amp with the remaining money.

chintan9 yay! i won the ipod!

I actually think that is a huge misconception. Infact its pretty weird linking brands with genres. In my books Ibanez , jackson , ESP or fender can be used for an Genre be it metal, rock, blues, jazz etc.
