hey guys m new at indianguitarrabs i m willing to buy a new guitar al my friends bought accoustic when they started off but m getting an electric guitar cheap a fender strat 2nd hand with processor for 5k cud anyone temme if its harmful if u start with an electric guitar?? m a COMPLETE newbie in guitar playing and anyone knows any video tutorials for learning from total basics?? would mean a lot to me thanx souvik
hi without going into the details of the stuff u have asked. it will be better if u start from acoustic. electric guitar has the ability to resonate itself on its own accord. acoustic wil teach ur fingers and hands much more. After getting to move a bit on acoustic u wil find it easier to switch to electric. anyways u can buy the electric now if its cheap. but keep it at a place where ur hands dont reach ...atleast for sometime. :grin:
Make sure you really trust the person you're getting this guitar from. People tend to rip you off in deals like this one.
learn on Acoustic then switch on the electric one. The strings of the Acoustic are harder than the electric one, that makes ur finger tips strong.
