Hi Friends, I have a friend who lives in USA. He is planning to buy a guitar. The rpoblem here is that we both can't decide on the guitar which will suit him. He is beginner and knows nothing about guitars. Also theres confusion whether to but Guitar from USA or from India.Plz help me by suggesting Manufacturer and Model No.
Well i think Acoustic will be better for a beginer. Budget is around Rs.10,000. No specific need in particular but it should be a good one. One which connects to amplifier is preferred.
If you're looking for something trendy looking, go for a Fender Stratacoustic, or if you just prefer the conventional look, i'd say, a Wechter 1600 series travel or Dean Exotica Nomad. Bear in mind, these three are cutaways, i'm particularly biased towards them.......
@acidic_leo............i suggest u to first consider what kinda music you intend to play or learn...........there are different varieties in acoustics n they offer different sounds ..........so there are different kinda acoustics or electro-acoustics for different music genre.......... i dont have much knowledge about what guitar would fit which genre..........but still a bit that i have ............ that if u wanna play the classical or country stuff then get a classical guitar either nylon string or steel string upto u.......... for blues well any acoustic sort would do.......but i think yamah's FG series or Ibanez acoustics would be the best choice.........considering ur range Rs. 10,000 .......yamaha FG310 would cost you around Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 13,000 .........so u might jus need to stretch a little
