Thnx again for the replies guys....
Ok....So it seems that analog...in most cases...is preferrable to processors............Due to...
    Choice of tone....
Quality of Tone....Performance in mid gains....
    Am I Right??.....

PS:An off the beat question....but what is GAS?? :)

Yep, think of a processor as the jack of all trades and king of none(well I do at least).

    GAS is Gear Acquisition Syndrome.

    alpha1 I BLUES!

Of course I cannot deny that the sound of a tube amp being pushed by slight dirt in the overdrive pedal has not been emulated (to a satisfactory levels yet).

But on a limited budget, which most ppl are actually, and I would prefer they remain so - unless they really get serious about their playing - processors are a better compromise for gigs and recordings.

Besides, if you check out the tone choice of most ppl: its usually \m/ METCHUL \\m// Which is high gain, interspersed with clean tones.
Something that a processor can do fine.

If someone is after the typical blues or blues/jazz tone - then god save you, because nothing will ever satisfy you! (Perhaps not even the original gear)
