Just wanted to introduce myself. I've been playing many years, blues, rock and recently jazz. I love world music and different styles. I like alternate tuning a lot. I live in USA but would love to learn about what Indian guitarists are doing as far as influences and tunings. Western music goes by the pretense that music notes are a, b, c, d, e, f, g with sharps and flats. I know this is not necessarily true in Indian music. I look forward to learning exotic scales and the members views on western music and its influence on them. The internet has allowed us to become a world community and I look forward to learning from the members of this site.
