    yes i have seen it.....
    i saw it 2-3 years back...now since long sm/hbo havent telecasted it...its a brilliant movie :nw: wot do u wanna know?

    With one of the greatest casts..i thought the movie was friggin awesome.
    Brilliant story.

    yes .. and its the second movie (first one being "a beautiful mind") that made my eyes leak ..very touching indeed .. especially when red commits suicide .. and that old man as well .. the library guy .. :'(

    *fail to mention that i hardly indian movies..they have to be spectacular for me to even consider wasting three hours to watch crappy choreography.*

    one of my fave films ever....!
    btw, if u wanna 'cry', watch eternal sunshine. its not a tearjerker, but it kinda makes u feel romantic pain. watch it and u'll understand.


    @shak : hey red doesnt commit suicide...

    i think he does .. you know when he gets out of jail, takes up a job at grocers....couldnt make ends meet ..and misses his jail buddies .. goes to the same motel that the library guy went to .. .. and reads the touchy stuff that the library guy wrote. . err thats what i do remember but did he actually hung himself .. :S i think he did ..

    or maybe i am cnfusing red with someone else .. red was that afro carribean guy right? if yes then ofcourse he died!

    ^You're getting old mate, he goes, sees all that, then sees a vision of him hanging himself. Shakes himself back to senses, takes the letter and goes in search for the location that andy tells him to go to. Finds some money and an address and flies out to there and meets him. Happy ending/

    For me it was only good but not great. The most emo movies i have watched are American History X and Full Metal Jacket.

    @dist: .. yeah i guess i am ... :S or perhaps the modern day gore flicks have comlpetely closed my brain off to happy endings .. or is it that am a bit dyslexic .. *scared* ..

    if u loved american history X u should watch last years oscar winner for best picture- Crash
