have a squier strat

i play punk , grunge and alternative rythm on a squier strat, any comments?
how much do pikups generally cost , strat or telcaster ones?

 

squier strats aren't too bad are (just about!!) gigable.

being a strat you can play a lot of different styles with it.

as for the pickups it depends on what you want, they can be very very expensive or very cheap.

 

do you get squiers in India with maple fretboard?

 

Hey I have seen one or two Squires with Maple Fretboards but they are diffiult to find .. I have three Guitars all are with Rosewood Fret boards. Fender Start Made in Mexico , Squire Strat & a Tansen Th 6

 

yeah you can get a Squire with a maple neck. Like ninad said they aren't easy to find.

 

Hey U will might just get the Squire telecaster with a maple necks u can call Bharagav & check I have my doubts on the Squire Strats but if I remember clearly some time back Cliffy in Bandra had one for sale it was bit like Fat Strat .. I remember the neck was really thick & very diffrent feel to it. But only thing was that hard ware was bit damaged I think & he was asking 12000 or 10000 for second hand guitar... Which bit too over priced since brand new Squire is about 11,500 at Ashish's Shop - S. B Musical in Malad...
