A sudden burst of creativity (if you can call it that)... didn't really edit or think much while writing... not particularly good... Its supposed to be a speed metal song.

    Harbinger's Lament

    (verse 1)
    Shepherd of the vale
Son of the king of the lost
He Shall lead the men to hope.
From dust he shall rise again
And To dust he shall ride in pain
    (The Bringer of Death...)

    (verse 2)
And in the guise of a sleeping lamb
A wolf will betray his own clan
    I've seen it in sands

    (bridge)
    Bells ring and children shout
    Death comes and thunder clouds

    (chorus)
    Messiah they say I am
    But am I a God... I don't know
And in the face of certain death
Of what use is knowing the truth
    Is this a clue?

    (verse 3)
As he weaves the thread of fate
They shall all be saved and enslaved
Bringer of day and yet lover of night
    Martyrdom he changed into bliss
Oh what great price must he pay
    (To see the world safe)

    (verse 4)
Dawn is and dawn shall bring
A thorn in the rose of his plans
    I've seen it in sands

    (bridge)
    Bells ring and children shout
    Death comes and thunder clouds

    (chorus)
    Messiah they say I am
    But am I a God... I don't know
And in the face of certain death
Of what use is knowing the truth
    Is this a clue?

    Bells ring and children shout
    Is this the end?

no this one is not related to tolkien... it began with the idea of Rand Al'Thor from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time but I diverged mid way...
