guyz can ne1 help me out with tabs???

hey guyz im faizi,i cant understand these signs, e.g, (10p12) & 912h8) and (5s10) and (9~).
can ne1 help me out on this one?

H= HAMMER-ON
S=SLIDE
~= VIBRATE....

postd this once.. don remembr in which thrd.. nywayz postin thm agn.. had it saved.. da tab notations u askd 4 is quite simple..
u'll find plenty of lessons on tabs out here in igt..
xplainin da hammer ons , pull-offs, slides, etc..

hammer-on (h) :
eg: (showing only 1st string)

E |---2h4----|

i. means press 2nd fret 1st string (say with ur index finger)
ii. strike(strum) the 1st string
iii. thn as da string is vibrating/ringing press the 4th fret 1st string with anothr finger quickly (say the ring finger).. without removing da index finger from da 2nd fret.

also represented as
2/4.

eg: (showing only 1st string)

i. means press 4th fret 1st string (say with ur ring finger) and also press da 2nd fret 1st string (say with ur index finger)
ii. strike(strum) the 1st string
iii. thn as da string is vibrating/ringing remove the ring finger frm 4th fret 1st string .. without removing da index finger from da 2nd fret.

can be also represented as
4/2

slide (s) :

in tht case u hav 2 slide da finger frm 4th fret 2 2nd fret.

ii. strike(strum) the 1st string and let it ring for sum time

One thing.. da examples u gave 10p12 and 12h8 is not possible..
read my post for hammer on and pull off 2 figure tht out..
u must hav written tht randomly..
10p12 shud be 10h12 actually or 12p10
12h8 shud be ..12p8 actually or...8h12

u can find bettr lessons if u srch da forums or the net..
these r my tips
