hi.. m a grade 3 guitarist..looking for a band..in delhi(north) genre:blues...hard rock..punk...alternate #9999356582-mayank
Grade 3 = Trinity Grade 3 I think. In other words, lad knows classical to an extent. Wanna make a duet? My role - play classical on my 7 string electric. We can do Bach, Sor, Carulli, arrangements of anything and everything, and what have you.
good guitarist as in..wat can u play name some songs..im CARLOS SANTANA betcha cant play better han me. (gosh i wanna change my username,,,)
Lot of arrogance here eh? Nice first impression. The toughest song I have learnt is Classical Gas. Its by Mason Williams. I can play Fade to Black and Master of Puppets too.
I know I used to be like that...when I had newly joined IGT. Playing skill is not quantified by the technical difficulty of what you're playing, otherwise Guitar Pro would be the best player on the planet (plays exactly at tempo, plays whatever you throw at it without mistakes, etc It's HOW you play it. The tone, dynamics, phrasing, thought, and interpretation in your playing. Kids these days should learn more classical :RollLol:
@sage76 i asked nitish i guess... neways sage76 its very cool dat u can play classical gas.. \m/ ..other two i can play too.. @ultrabot : u r so much into classical fingerstyle nd stuff..y r u bassist ?? neways cool fingerstyle is tough dan plec stuff....
CS its better for you to get a bit civilized...playing a few solos of some songs just don't make you a guitar player...its how you play...you'll be called a good guitar player only when you have respect for other guitar players. If you can you make yr own stuff like...riffs writing lyrics..writing solos(which i DOUBT you cannot) etc...then you'll be a reputed guitar player..playing some shit some other band makes...will lead you no where. Try learning something from ultrabot90, @Ultra: You thee man!
!!? Dude, in complete contradiction to your standard, I've never completed a composition of my own, can't improvise to save my life, and have only done what others (composers) have wrote. PLUS I look down upon plectrum guitarists (there goes the 'respect other players' clause). Thanks though, hopefully one day I'll be worthy of that ^^
