I am looking for recommendations of a good guitar instructor in the Edison, New Jersey area. I am a 38year old newbie who is very passionate about playing the guitar. I did take some classes like 10years ago in a county college which was a horrible experience. I gave up after that and just stuck to listening to acoustic guitar with awe everytime I got a chance. Me likes clapton and SRV. As my previous experience with learning guitar was not good I want to find the right teacher. I did get the justinguitar.com dvd and other lessons on the web which are very helpful but have heard from here and alt.guitar forums that a teacher is kinda must.
