    death_metal_fan oh goody, it's a woody!

    Does anyone know how much it costs to have a couple of pickups installed in Bombay or does someone here know a guitar technician who does a good job of installing pickups?

    @fr: Yes, on Wednesday.

    @shahrukh: Are there any resources you can point me to on the Internet that can help with installing a pickup? I understand that the pickups themselves do come with an instruction manual but if there was an online tutorial that would be great.

    its not very difficult you know ... its only what ... 3 solders to remove and three wires to solder again .. not a big deal ..

    Thanks very much shahrukh. Those links were really helpful. I'm replacing the stock PSND pickups on my Ibanez RG with a Seymour Duncan SH-2 Jazz and an SH-4 JB Model. The instructions seem simple enough. I will grab myself a soldering iron and some solder wick and get it done myself. I'll post pictures of the installation if I can.

    Thanks again.

    ohh!!
    in music123 a rg costs 350$ !!

    umm well that is pretty comparable to the price I paid (cheaper actually). Mind you the price I mentioned of $440 is Canadian dollars which is about $370 US. Plus in Canada we have to pay 15% tax on every purchase (which I got back when I left the country since I was taking the purchase out of Canada). So the actual cost of the guitar was about $325 US which is cheaper than the price you found on Music123. ;)
