Does anyone know how much it costs to have a couple of pickups installed in Bombay or does someone here know a guitar technician who does a good job of installing pickups?
I'll give a call to Lincoln/Stelton from furtadoes and let you know... by the way, are you coming to bombay? ))
yo can install them yoruself .. all you need is a soldering iron, soldering wire, some wax and steady hand ...
@fr: Yes, on Wednesday. @shahrukh: Are there any resources you can point me to on the Internet that can help with installing a pickup? I understand that the pickups themselves do come with an instruction manual but if there was an online tutorial that would be great.

Im going to take that adventure too, on 2 of my guitars Gonna practice on the really crap one first I'll give you details soon.
its not very difficult you know ... its only what ... 3 solders to remove and three wires to solder again .. not a big deal ..
Thanks very much shahrukh. Those links were really helpful. I'm replacing the stock PSND pickups on my Ibanez RG with a Seymour Duncan SH-2 Jazz and an SH-4 JB Model. The instructions seem simple enough. I will grab myself a soldering iron and some solder wick and get it done myself. I'll post pictures of the installation if I can. Thanks again.
@Alfons: I have a 370DX Black @shahrukh: Add me on MSN and maybe I can help you out. My ID is in my user profile.
umm well that is pretty comparable to the price I paid (cheaper actually). Mind you the price I mentioned of $440 is Canadian dollars which is about $370 US. Plus in Canada we have to pay 15% tax on every purchase (which I got back when I left the country since I was taking the purchase out of Canada). So the actual cost of the guitar was about $325 US which is cheaper than the price you found on Music123.
