hi guys need some help.. my uncle's comin from the US and i want to ask him to get me 350$ range guitar in a hard case. can he bring it without getting stopped by the customs guys and without exceeding weight limit? will it cause any problems when he's getting it generally? anyone wid some experience pls reply cheers
Where r u located bro? India or Bangladesh or Pakistan? I know abt Pakistan though, and its no problem bringing it in here. It can pass as a hand-carried item, so u dont have to worry abt 2 suitcases max kinda stuff. My friend comes & goes to the states every once in a while, and he takes it with him. No trouble. But be careful to tell ur uncle not to send it in the cargo compartment. Instead it can fit in the overhead luggage compartment in the plane. But if he wants to place it in the cargo compartment, invest in a flight case. It might be a couple o bucks expensive, but well worth it. Hardshell, well im not sure it can take to cargo deptt beatup. I wont take the risk if I were u. Good luck.
